The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI) Trademark Usage Guidelines

 

“The American Anti-Corruption Institute”, “The AACI”," "Certified Anti-Corruption Manager," "CACM,"  "Corruption Prevention Management Test," CPMT," "CPMT Online Test," “CACM Exam Review Course,” “Corruption Magazine,”, “Anti-Corruption Quarterly”,” Anti-Corruption Forum,” The AACI Logo and related trademarks, names and logos are the property of the American Anti-Corruption Institute, LLC., and are registered and unregistered and/or used in the U.S. and countries around the world.

 

The AACI may terminate your membership or take legal action if it finds that you have violated any of the Trademark Usage Requirements stated below. Your right to use any of The AACI trademarks automatically terminates when your AACI membership terminates or expires. You agree to cooperate with The AACI if it becomes necessary for The AACI to take any action to enforce any of its rights in any of its Trademarks. (See the Site Terms and Conditions)

 

Trademark Usage Requirements

 

  1. You acknowledge in whole that The AACI is the sole owner of the trademarks and promise that you will not interfere with the trademark rights of The AACI, including challenging The AACI’s use of, registration of, or application to register these trademarks, alone or in combination with other words, anywhere in the world, and that you will not harm, misuse, or bring into disrepute any of The AACI trademarks.

  2.  You will not use The AACI trademarks as part of your company, service name, product, or adjacent to a business name.

  3. You may not use any of The AACI trademarks as any part of an Internet domain name, website name, business and non-business letterhead, or e-mail address.

  4. You may not use any name, logo, or symbol that is confusingly similar to The AACI trademarks.

  5. The goodwill derived from using any part of any of The AACI trademarks exclusively inures to the benefit of and belongs to The AACI.

  6. The AACI trademarks must not appear more prominently than your company title and logo. Do not use The AACI trademarks as backgrounds or watermarks.

  7. Your use of The AACI trademarks must not reflect unfavorably on the professional and business image of The AACI and its products or services.

  8. You may not use The AACI trademarks in any way that suggests that The AACI is the source of the goods or services that you offer or create the impression, directly or indirectly, that The AACI sponsors or endorses any product or service without The AACI’s prior written approval.

Use of The AACI trademarks in print, advertising, multi-media on clothing, promotional material or other merchandise requires the express written permission of The AACI.
